We have built our in-house algo trading bot specializing in 1 DTE ETH options trading. The bot is configured to scan far out-of-the-money deltas and execute daily trades automatically. While the system can be extended to trade BTC, SOL, and other altcoins, our current focus is on developing and optimizing ETH-specific algorithms.
At its current stage, the bot is built to connect directly to the Bybit exchange through API integration. No client or investor funds are held under Terramatris LLC custody.
For risk management purposes, we have implemented a feature that can automatically open long positions if short put options expire worthless, allowing the strategy to maintain directional exposure when market conditions support it.
Although the bot is still in an early development phase, it has already shown very promising results, currently maintaining a 100% options expiry success rate. We do not exclude the possibility of assignments occurring in the future, but based on the current configuration and backtesting assumptions, we do not expect more than 10–11 assignments per year. Under such conditions, the bot would maintain an estimated win ratio of approximately 97%.
We do not view the bot as a completely autonomous system. Instead, it is designed as an execution and assistance tool — automatically scanning market conditions and placing trades on supported exchanges while still operating within a broader portfolio and risk management framework.
Based on internal testing and strategy assumptions, the bot is potentially capable of yielding around 15% annually on spot capital. With leverage, returns could potentially exceed 30%, though naturally with higher associated risks.
The bot is not available for public use. We currently use it exclusively for our in-house trading operations as part of our broader Ethereum strategy. The strategy itself also helps fund the bot’s continued development through weekly $25 installments until the system scales further. We believe the recommended capital allocation to effectively operate such a bot is around $100,000.
