On November 23, 2023, the portfolio closed at $224.44, up $36.61, or 19.49%, from $187.83. The journal records the full increase as options income, making this the strongest documented income week so far.
The important point was the premium result, not an assumption that a nearly 20% week established a permanent run rate. The next decision still had to be sized for the portfolio that existed, not the one implied by a single strong week.
Market context
From November 16 to November 23, Bitcoin moved from roughly $36,155 to $37,290, while Ethereum rose from around $1,961 to $2,062. ETH gained a little over 5%. Binance and Changpeng Zhao settled U.S. illicit-finance charges on November 21; the immediate market response was mixed, so this is context rather than a claimed cause of the weekly ETH gain.
